Ahead of World Superbike, MSMEs are Prepared Specially, MATARAM - The World Superbike Mandalika event in November is considered to have an impact on the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector through the online market provided by the organizers. Hundreds of MSMEs in Lombok and Sumbawa have participated in the curation process to get an online booth at the world superbike (WSBK) international event. No less than 400 MSMEs will enliven the online market with a transaction value that is predicted to reach Rp109.1 billion. Director of Strategy for Mandalike Granprike Association Happy Harito explained that the online market for MSMEs started before the World Super Bike event to encourage viewers or tourists to come to Mandalika.

"We have prepared the details for MSMEs to be able to sell online during the WSBK and MotoGP 2022 events, so we involve MSMEs throughout NTB. Those who have not passed curation also have the opportunity as long as they follow the established rules," Happy said through a zoom meeting, Thursday (17/6/). 2021). Happy explained that in general MSMEs in NTB deserve to be involved in the 2022 WSBK and MotoGP events by completing the shortage of MSME products. "The shortcomings are few, for example, how to compare MSMEs at the WSBK event, so that people are interested. This can be done by transferring knowledge from other developed regions. We have conveyed it to the Ministry of Industry, Kemenparekraf so that knowledge transfer can be carried out," said Happy.

In addition to MSMEs, the WSBK event also maximally involved NTB youths such as marshal officers who were recruited directly from local men around Mandalika. "We trained this marshal properly to meet standards, such as English and physical abilities, there should be no mistakes because he is the image of Indonesia in the eyes of the world," said Happy.
